The Republic of Palau is inimitable, and it is one of the world's most spectacular dive destination in the world, located in the western Pacific Ocean, is geographically part of the larger island group of Micronesia.

Palau has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 28°C. Rainfall is heavy throughout the year, although rain falls more frequently between July and October. However, we can never be sure about the weather today, last week during the so called rainy season, we still had some good sunny days.

We had a 8D/7N liveaboard cruise trip with Tropic Dancer and another couple days in the beautiful islands in Palau, did some really interesting and fun day trip adventures, it was so memorable ;-)

Both above and under the surface have amazing things to show us : the friendly Napoleons, the big wall drop with lots of sharks around, the magic jelley fish lake, the exllent crew with amazing services, the exciting "Off Road Eco Tour", the sportive kayaking trip and the breathtaking helicopter tours and much much more.

Palau is truly a paradise!

The video below shows ours happy days in Palau, have a look and you will understand straight ;-)

Palau-October-2014 - Dive and Cruise from Dive and Cruise on Vimeo.

Trip Date : 19 - 26, October 2014 (8D/7N, 6 Day Diving)
Liveaboard :Tropic Dancer
Who's onboard ?: (FULL CHARTER) 3 staff from Dive and Cruise team + 14 Guests from Zoo d'Amnéville.

Tropic Dancer is a typical Aggressor style liveaboard, very functional and comfortable in the same time. The crew kept it very clean during our entire stay.

As divers, one thing we really like was the hydraulic system to lift the dive skiff out of the water (to the same level of the dive deck) ensures fast and safe boarding for each dive. And the dive deck was large enough for us, even with all 18 guests plus few staff, it never gets crowded. The camera table with lens-towel and air-hoses were very useful for quick clean-up and battery change between dives. And the boat provide Nautilus Lifeline Rescue Units for every diver free of charge.

The food onboard were very good, from soup to the main course then to the dessert, all very delicious and the crew tried thier best to made them not only taste good but also looking great!

The service were sweet, a bit "American Style" but we can tell that the crew did thier very best to make our stay the most satisfying. For example:

Most of our guests from Zoo d'Amnéville are non-divers, so we organized to make "try dive" and OW onboard, the dive guides (Andy and Ben) helped us in all the ways possible in order to make our teaching more easy and smooth without disturb us.

One late night, some of us were curious about a card game but didnt know how to play, so Andy spent nearly 1 hour to taught us group by group, how sweet!
