Boat
Tiger Blue is a traditional wooden Phinisi vessel with an ironwood hull and teak decks, 34 meters long, 7.5 meters wide, cruises at 9 knots. It was completed in June 2008 and has just undergone a major refurbishment, adding a new master cabin, chill out area and bar on the main deck.
Tiger Blue has a dining deck with plenty of space at the front of the boat. In addition to the large dining table, the main deck features two double daybeds as well as a chill out area at the rear of the boat.
On the upper deck you can kick back on our sunloungers, taking in the spectacular views whilst enjoying the sunshine and perhaps a good book.
Tiger Blue can be chartered privately or on an individual cabin basis with three core itineraries throughout the year, which can easily be tailored to suit guests' requirements. Perfect for a family adventure, a once in a lifetime trip among friends or a diving and fishing holiday.
Tiger Blue can offer on board guests not only diving activitis but also wakeboarding, waterskiing, kneeboarding, kayaking, snorkelling, hiking, climbing, bird watching, fishing (only outside of the National parks) etc. As it's euipped with 2 sea kayaks, knee boards, wake boards, water skis, fishing gear on board.
Whether soaking up the sun, exploring a nearby island or leaping into the warm waters to dive or snorkel, the Tiger Blue team are there to look after you. At the end of each day, enjoy sunset cocktails either on the sun deck or sitting around a beach bonfire, before dining under a canopy of stars accompanied by tales of the day’s adventures.
Cabin
Tiger Blue has 5 very cozy cabins, it can host up to 8 - 12 guests on board：
All cabins are fully air-conditioned and have en-suite facilities designed with families and different age groups in mind.
Full Charter is based on up to 8 guests. If you wish to bring additional guests we have per adult and per child rates and can take up to a maximum of 12 people per charter.
1 MASTER CABIN：
This cabin is located on the main deck, it offers easy access to the dining and seating areas. Bright and spacious thanks to a large full-size window, it comes complete with king size bed, day bed, shower and WC. It is also near the back of the boat, so is the least affected by any movement. It can sleep up to 2 guests and 1 child.
2 SUPERIOR CABINS：
Located midships on the lower deck, these are the largest cabins and feature a daybed which can comfortably accommodate a 3rd guest. The king size bed can also be split into separate twin beds. Each cabin can sleep up to 3 guests with the daybed made into a thrid bed.
2 STANDARD CABINS：
Located at the front of the lower deck, these standard cabins are mirror images of each other and have a large double bed and spacious en-suite bathroom complete with rainshower. Each cabin can sleep up to 2 guests with the king size double bed.
ENSUITE BATHROOMS：
Each bathroom has a ceramic sink, an electric WC and a hot and cold shower, as well as non-slip mosaic flooring.
Diving
- Up to 4 dives per day, depending on conditions and route.
- No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
- 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
- For full charter trips, will offer Discovery dive free of charge

From dramatically coloured volcanic lakes on Flores and the rich tribal cultures of Alor, to the rarely visited Banda Islands, these journeys are ideal for those looking to venture to the edge of the Pacific’s Ring of Fire.
All itineraries are flexible, so as to accommodate any changes in weather, tidal conditions or guest wishes. The cruise director discusses options with guests on a daily basis.
Activities
Scuba Diving
Diving with Tiger Blue is a wonderfully civilised experience - The dive master is qualified in PADI, CMAS AND SSI. Whilst it is possible to learn to dive during your stay, for non-divers we offer free discover dive couse, all the dive equipment you will need is on board for using free of charge. And Discovery dives are free of charge too!
Shore Excursions
Venturing on to dry land, the crew will guide you to deserted beaches and through local villages where traditional ways of life remain virtually unchanged. The Natiional Park on the island of Komodo offers the possibility of stalking the infamous Komodo dragon, while the challenge of scaling the steep slopes of the Raja Ampat islands can bring rewards of spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding seascapes.
Water Sports
For those who prefer to explore above rather than under the water, there are two sea kayaks and plenty of snorkeling equipment, with a dedicated snorkeling guide. You can have a go at wakeboarding, waterskiing and knee boarding, and when the boat is outside of the national parks, try to catch some fish for fresh sashimi!
Please note fishing is not permitted in any National Park and motorised watersports are not permitted within Komodo National Park. Alternative locations can be arranged on request.
Surfering
For surfers, we can organise dedicated trips to the best breaks in West Papua from November to March. In June and July, the surf is excellent in Timor, near the Komodo National Park.
Hiking
The grassy slopes of Komodo lend themselves well to one to two hour climbs, ending in spectacular views across the islands and bays. Climb the steep pinnacles of Raja Ampat and you'll be surrounded by lush vegetation and tropical flora. Or hike up a volcano in the Banda islands and maybe spot a deer along the way.
Other Informations
Tiger Blue is available all year round for private charter sailing Raja Ampat, October to March and Komodo, April to September. We recommend a minimum of four nights in Komodo and seven nights in Raja Ampat due to the greater distances involved.
All prices are on a per night basis and the Full Charter is based on up to 7 guests. If you wish to bring additional guests we have per adult and per child rates and can take up to a maximum of 12 people per charter.

ПОЛЕЗНАЯ ИНФОРМАЦИЯ
Раджа Ампат
Время для посещения: Дайвинг-сафари предлагаются в течение круглого года. Самые лучшие месяцы для посещения - с декабря по март. Большинство сафарийных кораблей проводят сафари в других регионах страны с июня по сентябрь, так как в это время здесь возможны сильные ветра, ливни и шторма.
Климат: Раджа Ампат находится на экваторе, климат здесь влажный тропический. Температура воздуха одинакова почти весь год и находится в пределах 26°-31°С. Средняя влажность - 83%, часто идут дожди.
Температура воды: Температура воды находится на одном и том же уровне практически целый год - 27-29°C.
Визы: Гражданам РФ виза на 30 дней выдается по прилету, стоимость - 35 USD (оплата наличными); возможно продление визы на дополнительные 30 дней за отдельную плату. Гражданам Украины, Белоруссии, Казахстана визу необходимо получить заранее в посольстве.
Логистика: Основной аэропорт региона - Соронг(SOQ). Международных рейсов сюда нет, добраться можно местными авиалиниями из международных аэропортов: Джакарта(CGK), Бали-Денпасар(DPS), Макассар(UPG).
При вылете в аэропорту взимается аэропортовый сбор, размер которого зависит от аэропорта вылета, а также направления рейса. Сборы на местных рейсах составляют от IDR 15.000-40.000 с человека. Сборы за международные вылеты выше - от IDR 100.000 до 150.000 с человека.
Вес и размер разрешенного к провозу без дополнительной платы багажа зависит от авиакомпании, и составляет от 10 кг (Wings) до 20 кг (Garuda Airlines). Garuda Airlines также позволяет одну дополнительную единицу багажа с дайверским снаряжением провозить без дополнительной платы. Другие авиакомпании взимают плату от IDR 6.000 до 40.000 за каждый лишний килограмм в зависимости от направления и длительности рейса и количества пересадок.

Тем не менее, с января по март здесь дождливый сезон - единственное время, когда острова можно увидеть ярко-зелеными. В остальное время года они выгорают и становятся желто-коричневыми. Средняя температура воздуха - от 26°C до 30°С, но во время треккинга на суше температура может подниматься до 36°-38°С.
Температура воды: Большую часть года температура воды на севере парка - 26°-28°С, а на юге - около 23°-24°С. Но во время дождливого сезона активны северо-западные муссоны, приносящие сильные ливни и ветра, температура воды на севере может упасть до 24°C, а видимость до 5-10 метров; на юге же наоборот лучшая видимость (до 20-25 метров) и температура воды до 27-28°C.

Море Банда
Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.
About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement
Most dive sites are suitable for all levels with a few exceptions that are suitable only for advanced divers. You can find out more informations about diving in Banda Sea here : Banda Sea
Embarkation / Disembarkation
The embarkation / disembarkation can be in Ambon (AMQ), Kaimana (KNG), Maumere (MOF), Sorong (SOQ), Waisai (RJM), Saumalaki (SXK) etc. As some of the Banda Sea trip will combine with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Halmahera, Triton Bay. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.
Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.
Drones
There are very few restrictions on the use of drones for photography purposes within Indonesia. Please check Drone laws in Indonesia for details.
Extending your holiday
