Получившая награду в области австралийского экологического туризма, сафарийная яхта Spirit of Freedom предлагает дайв-туры в Австралии, полностью следуя принципам охраны и защиты окружающей среды и морского парка. Рассчитанная на группу до 26 человек, яхта предлагает сафари длительностью 3, 4 и 7 ночей на Большом Барьерном рифе.

ИНТЕРЬЕР

Кондиционируемая кают-компания Spirit of Freeedom расположена на главной палубе яхты. Ресторанный зал с большими обеденными столами служит также помещением для проведения брифингов перед погружениями, кинозалом для просмотра отснятых во время сафари кадров, да и просто местом сбора всех желающих пообщаться дайверов. Многие гости используют кают-компанию для обработки фото и видео на собственных ноутбуках.

Дополнительно в носовой части яхты расположена комната развлечений с библиотекой, телевизором, коллекцией фильмов и мягкими диванчиками с подушками.

Верхняя палуба предлагает возможность расслабиться на свежем воздухе - здесь находится открытая солнечная зона с шезлонгами, а также затененная площадка с удобными диванчиками и столами. Один или два раза в неделю здесь организуется вечеринка и ужин с барбекю.

КАЮТЫ

На борту Spirit of Freedom имеются 11 кают, каждая с индивидуальным санузлом и кондиционированием.

Самая роскошная и просторная на борту, каюта 13 класса Deluxe Ocean View располагается на верхней палубе и имеет двуспальную кровать и панорамные окна. Каюта 12 класса Ocean View также находится на верхней палубе и имеет двуспальную кровать, и отличается лишь меньшим размером.

Остальные 9 кают располагаются на нижней палубе:

• каюта 1 расположена в кормовой части яхты и имеет двуспальную кровать
• каюта 2, также в кормовой части яхты, имеет две односпальных кровати на разных уровнях
• каюты 3, 7, 8 и 9 подходят как для пар, так и для индивидуальных дайверов - в них имеются двуспальная и односпальная кровати на разных уровнях
• каюта 4 имеет двуспальную кровать
• каюты 5 и 6 предназначены для четырехместного размещения и имеют по две двухъярусных кровати каждая

В зависимости от личного бюджета каждый дайвер сможет выбрать вариант сафари себе по карману!

ДАЙВИНГ

Дайв-палуба Spirit of Freedom с комфортом размещает всю группу. Для фотографов имеется небольшой стол для обслуживания аппаратуры и отдельная емкость для ее опреснения после погружений.

Take a reef flight to Lizard Island to begin your diving at the very top of the Ribbon Reefs at sites such as the ‘Cod Hole’ and ‘Dynamite Pass‘. Appealing to the experienced diver, this tour travels 200km offshore to the oceanic wilderness of Australia’s Coral Sea, where volcanic atolls plummet to thousands of metres below. A thrilling shark dive, schools of big fish, manta rays and more await you at Osprey Reef.

7 DAY COD HOLE & CORAL SEA

Description：
Experience the amazing diversity of the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. Dive the ‘Ribbon Reefs’, 120km of picturesque coral reef teaming with marine biodiversity, before heading out to Osprey Reef where 1000 metre walls emerge from the ocean depths. Here you will experience astoundingly clear water, massive red and yellow soft corals, reef sharks, whalers, hammerheads, mantas, and big fish action.

7 DAY FAR NORTH EXPEDITIONS (ONLY FEW TIMES A YEAR)

Spirit of Freedom offering only few trips per year, with flights in and out of the small Cape York town of Lockhart River to maximise time in this amazing region.
Description：
The Far Northern Reefs are known as the isolated reefs north of Lizard Island that extend to the east the tip of Cape York peninsular, around 500 nautical miles north of Cairns. One of the last totally pristine areas of the Great Barrier Reef, these reefs are seldom visited by any boats, and many of the hundreds of reefs in the region, are yet to be fully explored. The Far Northern reefs are famous for their fantastic wall dives, pinnacles alive with fish, massive coral heads, and reef fish and invertebrates of incredible variety and colour. The nesting season for the green sea turtle runs from October through February, and November and December sees thousands upon thousands of turtles descending on the many small coral cays in the region. The Spring is also the best weather season to dive the outer walls, offering a great chance of encounters with sharks, manta rays and massive schools of pelagics. The diving in this region can be challenging, and these tours are only recommended for the experienced diver.

DEPARTURES

Spirit of Freedom offers return courtesy transfers from all Cairns City Hotels. If you are staying outside the central district, or at the Northern Beach suburbs, you will need to arrange your own transfer on the departure/ return day.

Spirit of Freedom recommends arrival into Cairns at least the day prior to your trip, as unforseen flight delays or lost baggage may cause inconvenience or you may even miss the boat. However, if you are flying into Cairns on day of departure, please note that you will need to make your own way to our dive shop or the vessel itself.

Diving Seasons

JANUARY THROUGH APRIL：January through April is a wetter season with tropical monsoonal weather bringing amazing feeding and marine action, plus a great opportunity to see juvenile fish following the breeding season. Manta Rays are also commonly spotted on the Great Barrier Reef at this time. The air temperature will range 23-32°C (74-90°F) and the water temperature will average 29°c /84°F.

MAY THROUGH AUGUST：May through August is mostly sunny and clear of rain, although the south-easterly trade winds can be a bit stronger at this time. Air temperatures range from minimums around 15°C/ 60°F to maximums around 26°C/ 79°F. The water will be at its coolest dropping to around 24°C/ 75°F, but generally offers great visibility. In the months of June and July, Dwarf Minke Whales are commonly sighted on the Ribbon Reefs, having migrated from the Antarctic seas to the relatively warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Growing to a length of around 8 metres, this small, gentle whale has an inquisitive nature that draws them close to boats in the region, often lingering with divers and snorkelers, as close as a few feet away.

SEPTEMBER THROUGH TO DECEMBER：September through to December sees the water warm up, with generally clear sunny days and light winds. Many coral reef species breed at this time, with the coral spawning en-masse in October and/ or November. Manta Rays are commonly spotted in the Coral Sea from April to October. The air temperature will range 20-32°C (68-90°F) and the water temperature usually averages 27°C/ 80°F.
