Boat
Tiare was built between 2013 - 2016 with elegant ambience, it measuring 36.5 meters in length and 9 meters in width, cruises at 10 knots per hour and provides a 220 volt charging station but also 110 volt is available. It will take you on a journey of discovery to some of the most stunning diving spots in the world.
Tiare offers a spectacular experience for divers as well as non-divers, with bright airy cabins, spacious bathrooms and a large front deck where you can socialize, eat under the stars or just relax in the Indonesian sunshine.
Tiare has a large front deck where you can chat and eat under the stars, a huge lounge area with tables which can be merged or split according to basic amenities, as well as stereo system inside/outside and WiFi system inside/outside (it isn’t guaranteed in remote area). The living area is designed to make you feel like you are at home, with just that little extra bit of luxury and service you have always wanted.
The lounge bar is fully stocked with 1 computer and 1 iPad, 1 espresso (coffe) machine, 1 american coffee machine, 1 juice extractor, 1 ice machine, 1 basket with herbal teas, sugar, cocoa, etc, 1 hot, cold water dispenser, 1 fridge with light drink, milk, fresh fruit, tea, icecream etc, 1 white wine cellar, 1 red wine cellar, guests can enjoy delicious imported wines and various beverages. There is a small cigar store, but these must be enjoyed outside!
Tiare also has a dedicated camera and equipment room with a 10 meters long table with shelving, multiple charging stations, camera benches and a workstation with data transfer and CD/DVD burning facilities, DVD player and TV for photo/video playback.
In addition to the indoor living area, the outdoor bow lounge is a space to enjoy and experience the freedom of being at sea. Watch the crew at work, birds flying overhead or count the millions of stars in the clear night sky from comfortable loungers and couches.
There is also a comfortable diving deck separated from the so-called dry zone, with two hot water showers to warm yourself after a night dive. Every diver has his own place to set up his equipment.
The highly trained staff are happy to help you set up and answer any questions. They will also assist you to transfer your equipment to the waiting tender dive boats. Your fins, mask, pointer, reef hooks, cameras etc. can be stored under your seat. Your wetsuits will be washed and dried for you.
Cabin
Tiare has 6 five-star hotel like cabins onboard, it can welcome 12 guests, and up to 14 guests for charter or family trip.
All cabins have spacious ensuite bathrooms with environmental friendly body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer. As well as shore set (hat, towel, suntan lotion, thermos), and plenty of plugs for your mobile devices, light switches close to your comfortable beds, made up with lovely soft linen. Like a dream you want to stay in.
2 Deluxe Double Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with a double bed, portholes.
2 Deluxe Twin Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two single beds side by side, portholes.
2 Deluxe Triple/Family Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with one double bed and one single bed, with under-bed storage to ensure ease of movement around the cabin. These two cabins can accommodate two adults and one child or three adults if needed.
Diving
- 3 to 4 dives per day, depending on conditions/schedule plan.
- No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
- Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Tiaré cruises in the stunning Indonesian archipelago with a number of different routes and departure and end points. From Bali, Flores and Komodo NaConal Park, Alor and all the way to the prisCne reefs of Raja Ampat, East Timor and the Banda Sea, Tiaré offers trips from 5 to 11 nights.
Komodo
Komodo is not only famous for it macro life, there is an abundance of fish and corals due to its mineral rich waters. Don’t be surprised to see some beautiful pelagic, like sharks or mantas. Due to it geographic location, right in between the Indian ocean and the Flores sea in the North, we can expect stronger currents.
Water temperature: Water temperature: 19-28°C. Around Southern Komodo and Rinca Islands the water temperature drops drastically 24-21°C, a 5mm long suit is advised and hood and booties are strongly recommended.
Airport: Labuan Bajo. International flights reach Bali, then domestic flight to Labuan Bajo.
Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat literaly translates to Four Kings. The myth goes that each King reigns over one of four main islands, Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. There are a great variety of environments to cater for every diver’s taste and level: from wall to slopes, caves and canyons, seamounts, much diving, wrecks.
Dive Areas:
Cape Kri. If you want to see large fish and to be enveloped by fish then roll in here, both desires will soon be satisfied. Groupers, sharks, snappers, Napoleon wrasse, barracuda, dogtooth tuna, trevallies. They are all here in numbers. Cape Kri is a great place to spot wobbegongs, the curious carpet shark, but you should also admire gorgonian fans to look for pygmy seahorses grasping its branches.
Misol Island. Is located in the southern part of the Raja Ampat area and is home to an astonishingly colourful reef-scene. Soft corals dress up slopes, walls and canyons in a colourful palette No big schools here but cuttlefish, pipefish, Indian lionfish, nudibranchs, soft corals and critters. Unmissable by night.
The Jef Fam Group. Is in the central region of Raja Ampat, so it’s quite probable that you’ll visit it whether we are joining a southern or northern cruise route. It’s quite a large area with some impressive cabbage corals, sheet corals and mushroom corals What makes Jef Fam special is its diversity of marine encounters and is the best place to find wobbegongs. You can also see huge giant clams, Spanish mackerel, great barracuda and manta rays.
Manta Ridge. Is one of the best dive spots in Raja Ampat to regularly see mantas in impressive numbers, it is a popular central site, thanks to a cleaning station which delivers some awesome manta ray action to the few lucky enough to be there. In current, you may have to hook into place before enjoying the show which includes some black mantas, bumphead, parrotfish and turtles all unconcerned by the audience.
Water temperature: 27-30°C. A 3mm shorty should be sufficient. If you feel the cold a 5mm shorty is advisable.
Airport: Sorong. International flight to Jakarta or Manado and then domestic flight to Sorong.
Flores to Alor
The remote and unspoiled islands of Adunara, Lembata, Pantar and Alor are East of Flores. They are probably one of Indonesia’s best kept diving secrets. From incredible muck dive sites to impressive walls, crystal clear water to black volcanic sand sites.
Water temperature: 22-28°C. A 3mm shorty should be sufficient for Flores but it can cool down a lot in the Pantar strait; a 5mm shorty is advisable over a 3mm full suit.
Airport: Maumere (MAF). International flight to Jakarta or Bali and then domestic flight to Maumere.
Forgotten Islands (Banda Sea)
The Forgotten islands are part of the Maluku Tenggara which is a 1.000 km chain of archipelagos running from East Timor to Western Papua.
If you don’t like to run into any other liveaboard cruise you could imagine yourself as the only person in the world on one of old trade ships. Then this is the route for you. We will be diving some unexplored reefs. But also visit an area where we have spotted hammerhead schooling. Ever seen an active volcano? We can guarantee you an explosion. We like to hang around for the sun to set, so we can see the red hot lava roll down the slope into the water.
We plan four expeditions each year in November/April. One itinerary starts in Maumere (Flores) and ends in Saumlaki, in the Tanimbar Islands, and another trip returns along the same or a similar route. Detailed itineraries in this area may be subject to change according to weather and diving conditions and other factors.
Water temperature: 22-28°C. A 3mm shorty should be sufficient for Ambon but the Banda Sea can cool down a lot a 5mm fullsuit is advisable.
Airport: Saumlaki (SXK) or Tanimbar . International flight to Jakarta or Bali and then domestic flight to Ambon, than Saumlaki. Maumere (MOF)

Архипелаг Алор
Best time for diving
April to November, as this is when both visibility and weather are at their best, while September is the best time to spot Mola Mola. The currents usually are strongest in October and November, making conditions more challenging. From late December until early March, Alor is usually considered as off-season due to the rainy season.
About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 26°C - 29°C, summer months are between 27°C - 32°C.
Sea : between 25°C - 27°C from March to April & October to November, between 27°C - 30°C from May to September. Thermoclines are common year round, the water can drop at times to 22°C or lower.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit. If you get cold easily, we recommend also bring gloves and a hood, or even a 7 mm full wetsuit.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels of diver from beginners to experienced. However, in the open blue, the current can be strong at times, so divers should to be comfortable with their skills. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Alor liveaboard trips are usually from Maumere to Maumere, guests need to fly to Maumere airport (MOF).
However, some liveaboards often combine Alor with other destinations like Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat. Then you might only need to arrive or depart from Maumere.
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.
Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.
Drones
There are very few restrictions on the use of drones for photography purposes within Indonesia. Please check Drone laws in Indonesia for details.
Extending your holiday

Логистика: Основной аэропорт региона - Соронг(SOQ). Международных рейсов сюда нет, добраться можно местными авиалиниями из международных аэропортов: Джакарта(CGK), Бали-Денпасар(DPS), Макассар(UPG).
При вылете в аэропорту взимается аэропортовый сбор, размер которого зависит от аэропорта вылета, а также направления рейса. Сборы на местных рейсах составляют от IDR 15.000-40.000 с человека. Сборы за международные вылеты выше - от IDR 100.000 до 150.000 с человека.
Вес и размер разрешенного к провозу без дополнительной платы багажа зависит от авиакомпании, и составляет от 10 кг (Wings) до 20 кг (Garuda Airlines). Garuda Airlines также позволяет одну дополнительную единицу багажа с дайверским снаряжением провозить без дополнительной платы. Температура воды: Большую часть года температура воды на севере парка - 26°-28°С, а на юге - около 23°-24°С. Но во время дождливого сезона активны северо-западные муссоны, приносящие сильные ливни и ветра, температура воды на севере может упасть до 24°C, а видимость до 5-10 метров; на юге же наоборот лучшая видимость (до 20-25 метров) и температура воды до 27-28°C.

Море Банда
Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.
About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement

The embarkation / disembarkation can be in Ambon (AMQ), Kaimana (KNG), Maumere (MOF), Sorong (SOQ), Waisai (RJM), Saumalaki (SXK) etc. As some of the Banda Sea trip will combine with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Halmahera, Triton Bay. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.
