Boat
Ombak Putih is a 42 meter long, 10.5 meter wide, traditional Indonesian schooner custom built from Iron wood by Buginese ship builders. It was laid in Batulicin Kalimantan in 1995, and became operational in 1997.
Ever since, much attention has been given to the vessel's maintenance, heeding to an annual docking period and periodical checks to the all major technical installations on board.
With approximately 400 square meters of public space divided over 2 main decks, it offers both open and covered space in abundance, allowing for privacy and serene relaxing.
Ombak Putih provided with all kinds of sea entertainment like sea-fishing gears, kayaks, body boards and snorkel gears.
If you wish to sleep outside of your cabin on the deck during the cruise, there are also number of light sleeping bags and special mattresses available.
Ombak Putih do NOT offer Scuba Diving on board. Depending on itinerary, and the notice of dive interest at the time of booking, we can arrange an opportunity for guests on board to do scuba dive, it's for private charter only, we could arrange scuba diving up to 2 dives a day for maximum of 8 divers per charter.
Cabin
Ombak Putih has 12 comfortable cabins, it can welcome up to 24 guests.
All cabins have private bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, and ample storage space including safety deposit box.

Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with one double bed and one upper single bunk bed, portholes.

The Jewels Of Raja Ampat | Sorong - Sorong
Day 1 : You will be greeted by your tour leader at the airport in the morning and taken to the boat. After an alfresco lunch, we will stop off for our first swim and snorkel of the voyage on a coral reef, before continuing on our way south. Pre-dinner cocktails will be served on the back deck as the sun goes down and brings an end to our first day as we cruise on through the night.
Day 2 : Today we wake up at the eastern end of the Misool archipelago. We will spend the day exploring the many inlets and bays and beaches with some trekking, swimming and snorkelling. We will also break out the kayaks and paddle boards for some seaborne adventuring.
Day 3 : After an early breakfast, our day starts with a swim and a snorkel through a giant dome-roofed sea cave filled with massive stalagmites and stalactites, undoubtedly one of the areas most memorable experiences. We will then move on to the mysterious stingless jellyfish lake, one of only 20 in the world where these amazing creatures exist and swim amongst the many thousands of stingless animals. Using our tenders, we will visit some mysterious skull cairns in sea-cave cemeteries, and prehistoric cave paintings.
Day 4 : Today we will try our best to see the Lesser Birds of Paradise in the wild, an unforgettable experience for anyone lucky enough to see them. We will rise early and walk through the forest to hopefully see the birds as they dance around in their ‘lekking’ trees. In the afternoon, an underwater exploration will take place as we snorkel around one of the best coral reefs in the world. School of fish hanging out in the deep and colourful sea fans sticking out of the wall. Late in the afternoon, we will be watching the sunset while sailing our way to Batanta island.
Day 5 : The island of Batanta offers us a change of scenery and a chance to stretch our legs with an adventurous jungle trek filled with birds, butterflies and insects. Starting at a local village, our guides will lead us through the forest on a short walk to the first of two waterfalls, where we can swim and cool off. The fitter of the group can keep heading upriver where a second, larger cascade awaits. After getting back to the boat and having lunch, we will go snorkelling and get the paddle boards and kayaks in the water, before heading north later in the afternoon and overnight cruise to a beautiful group of islands.
Day 6 : In the morning, we will visit a pearl farm tucked away in a protected, deep water cove and tour the facilities to learn how this precious commodity is produced and harvested. Pearling is an important industry and provides employment for many people in the local area. We will spend the afternoon snorkelling and kayaking amongst three small islands linked together by some pristine coral reefs, or you can simply choose to relax on the beach.
Day 7 : This morning will explore a small group of limestone islands filled with coves and beautiful reefs. After breakfast, we will go ashore for a short climb to a vantage point where we can survey our beautiful surroundings, before heading out to snorkel on the beautiful reefs. During lunch we will head to a small island located between Gam and Mansuar where the currents bring rich nutrients to the coral reefs. The three famous jetties offer so much underwater life scenery – schools of fish, the shy black tip reef sharks, the elegant spadefish and the magnificent giant clams.
Day 8 : Central Raja Ampat stores many magical underwater gems. Today, we will be exploring some of them. Starting with a visit to a local village in the central of Mansuar island which promotes sustainability through their education centre, solar-powered street lights, and sustainable fishing practice through local community effort. Its house reef offers an abundance of marine life which is why we will spend the rest of our morning snorkelling here and if we’re lucky, maybe a sight of a wobbegong shark. Tonight, we will have a beach BBQ and party with the crew under the stars.
Day 9 : Today sees a super early start as we head off into the forest in search of the incredible Red Bird of Paradise. The walk takes about 40 minutes, and as we arrive at the bird site at dawn, if we are lucky, we will see the incredible mating displays of these birds in the canopy of the rainforest. This is a David Attenborough moment if ever there was one. We will then walk through a colourful local village and meet the people who call this wonderful corner of paradise home and see how they live their daily lives. Back on the boat we will head off for some more great snorkelling in the famous wall on the east of Gam island before we sail overnight to an island nearby Sorong.
Day 10 : We will wake up anchored in Sorong and have one last hearty breakfast on board of the Ombak Putih before venturing on our very last adventure in the Doom Island with traditional transportation called Becak. After our little adventure, we will bid farewell to the ship and her crew. Our tenders will take you ashore for your transfer to the airport for your onward travel.

Архипелаг Алор
Best time for diving
April to November, as this is when both visibility and weather are at their best, while September is the best time to spot Mola Mola. The currents usually are strongest in October and November, making conditions more challenging. From late December until early March, Alor is usually considered as off-season due to the rainy season.
About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 26°C - 29°C, summer months are between 27°C - 32°C.
Sea : between 25°C - 27°C from March to April & October to November, between 27°C - 30°C from May to September. Thermoclines are common year round, the water can drop at times to 22°C or lower.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit. If you get cold easily, we recommend also bring gloves and a hood, or even a 7 mm full wetsuit.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels of diver from beginners to experienced. However, in the open blue, the current can be strong at times, so divers should to be comfortable with their skills. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Alor liveaboard trips are usually from Maumere to Maumere, guests need to fly to Maumere airport (MOF).
However, some liveaboards often combine Alor with other destinations like Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat. Then you might only need to arrive or depart from Maumere.
Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.
Please note: Immigration officials in Indonesia may ask for proof of onward travel (e.g. a return or onward air ticket).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD.
Rupiah can be purchased from all major banks and exchange outlets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in major hotels, restaurants & shops.
Drones

Best time for diving
November to April, most liveaboards visit Triton Bay during the Raja Ampat diving season, as from June the winds and rain can cause unpleasant sea conditions. However, rain is possible in West Papua anytime, not just in rainy season.
Some sites are subject to strong currents here, and the visibility in Triton Bay might change abruptly. Rarely exceeding 20 meters, it can lower to less than 10 meters, especially after a lot of raining in Triton Bay. Most of diving is shallow dives, no more than 35 meters.
About temperatures
Air : generally ranges between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : averaging around 26°C - 27°C from May to October, 29°C - 30°C from November to April.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit for November to April, a 5 mm full wetsuit for May to October.
Diver requirement

The nearby airport is Kaimana airport (KNG) in West Papua. However, liveaboards may utilize different ports depends on the itinerary, as often liveaboard trips will combine Triton Bay with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, so please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

На Лембехе самые теплые условия для погружений в сезон дождей - с ноября по март температура воды пребывает на отметке 28°-29°С, а в остальное время года может опускаться до 24°-25°С. В летние месяцы на Лембехе наблюдается наибольшее количество живности, но также для каждого конкретного вида необычных существ есть свой лучший для посещения период.

Best time for diving
October to November and March to May, Halmahera can be dived all year round, but due to the monsoon season, from June to September it can be windy and the sea can be rough. And from December to February is considered as the rainy season.
Visibility is usually very good, ranging from 20-30 meters, Inside the bays the visibility may be less. Currents can be strong in the straits, weak in the areas protected by the islands.

Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Температура воды: Большую часть года температура воды на севере парка - 26°-28°С, а на юге - около 23°-24°С. Но во время дождливого сезона активны северо-западные муссоны, приносящие сильные ливни и ветра, температура воды на севере может упасть до 24°C, а видимость до 5-10 метров; на юге же наоборот лучшая видимость (до 20-25 метров) и температура воды до 27-28°C.

Логистика: Основной порт для сафари в Комодо - Лабуан Баджо(LBJ), также некоторые сафари предлагаются из Бимы(BMU). На данный момент оба аэропорта принимают только местные рейсы с Бали, аэропорт в Лабуан Баджо уже достроен до уровня международного, но пока ни одна авиакомпания не предлагает туда международные рейсы.

Best time for diving
April to October during the dry season, although the Derawan Islands is possible to dive year-round. And the islands receive consistent rainfall throughout the year. If you want to have the best chance to see manta rays, then try the beginning of the rainy season around November or December. The visibility is usually between 10 - 40 meters, with mild to medium currents.
About temperatures
Air : generally ranges between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 30°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Depending on the liveaboard you choose, the embarkation / disembarkation can be in Tarakan (TRK) or Berau (BEJ).
It also can be combined with Sulawesi (Lembeh) on longer cruise like 14D/13N, then the embarkation and disembarkation will be different, please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Liveaboards usually offer trips in Cenderawasih bay when other Indonesian sites are affected by inclement weather between June to October. Visibility can be between 10 - 35 meters here with mild currents.

Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.
The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.
