We had a 8 days cruising trip for one of our friends' birthday celebration in beautiful Komodo, and 3 of us are divers. The good thing of this boat is that only 4 adults can have the whold boat for your own. We are 4 girls, so two double beds don't bother us at all. I booked Solmar V almost 1.5 years ago before my Socorro trip starts, because this boat always looks booked long ahead in advance (part of the Peter Huges network i think). Solmar 5 was a very good boat with a long history of diving Mexico. Thought the cabins are bit small but everything else were gereat, everything worked, food was FABULOUS. We booked a trip onboard Mangguana early this year for Komodo, the guide organized up to 4 times a day, including night dive where condition permit. A typical day on SMY Mangguana start with light breakfast around 06:30 then followed by morning dive at 07:30, proper breakfast at 09:00; second morning diving at 11:00, lunch at 13:00 – sunbath or short nap before afternoon diving at 15:30 ; snack... I've been on this boat last april and it was the only possibility to fit my schedule. I enjoy the whole trip as the crew and diving team know perfectly the area and show us the best they could. Diving in Tubbataha was super good and we got lots of encounter where the best was hammerhead shark, eagle rays and sail fish. reefs were really nice and colorful.
